Saint Cloud State University, June 2003

Shortly after the launch of the revised Saint Cloud State University web site, a need for an easy-to-use, feature rich, news and announcements system. The system had to be flexible enough to "plug-in" to the different web sites across campus, scalable enough to handle large volumes of use and traffic, and powerful enough to support images and syndication.

In fact, the project was so ambitious, that it required the development of a sister application, the SCSU Image Gallery. This application directly supports the Campus News system by providing a central repository for all worthy photos and imagery. The Image Gallery includes a full-featured search as well as image collections and image purchasing.
